Cindy is a very competent personal trainer.  She pushed me harder than I thought possible, but never harder than was actually possible.  She doesn't yell and demean you like you see on the "The Biggest Loser", but she gets tremendous results.  In 4 1/2 months of working out with Cindy, I lost 36 pounds 25.5 inches.  My clothes feel comfortable again, I can walk up stairs without being winded.  I hurt my knees years ago playing racquetball so Cindy had to work around that injury.  She is very conscientious about my knees and strengthening them and not hurting them again.  Cindy works me hard (which is what you want from a personal trainer after all) and gets RESULTS!

Cindy WORKS YOU HARD, but only what she knows you can handle.  I had a shoulder injury and could not raise my arm up above my shoulder before starting with Cindy.  Fast forward a few months and now I can hold my arm straight up!  Also in those few months I lost 26 pounds and 23.75 inches.  I have reached my goal I set for myself and now I want to lose more because I can really see and feel the difference.  I can now see definition in my abs (maybe not quite a 6 pack, but at least a 4 pack).  If you are wanting to look better and feel better about yourself,  give Cindy a try - you have nothing to lose (except fat and inches)!

           I had been athletic and fairly fit into my late 30's, but after a back injury that required surgery and bearing two children within the next four years, I had gained weight that I could not shed.  I tried various "diets" over the next few years to no avail...I could not lose more than 10-15 pounds and I always gained it back.   Finally, I decided take the next step and use a personal trainer.
   When I signed on with Cindy , she GUARANTEED I would quickly see results if I followed her plan.  She provided me with a specialized diet ( which I followed precisely) and worked out 3 times a week.  The workouts are hard but never beyond my limits; also, Cindy tapered the workouts to avoid injury to my back.  She is always encouraging and motivating during workouts- I have never left the gym feeling discouraged (tired, yes!)
 
Now, after 4 months (48 training sessions), everything Cindy predicted came true!   I have lost a total of 46 pounds and 27 3/4 inches (6 inches from my waist and almost 8 inches from my hips).  I feel better all around and my eating habits have been forever changed to fit my healthier lifestyle.
   I continue to train with Cindy and must say I even look forward to it.   The transformation of my body and weight loss would not have happened without her.

In just eight weeks of training with Cindy and following her diet, I toned up and lost 20 lbs. After the first two weeks with Cindy I lost 1 ¼ ” inches around my arms, and 9 ½ inches across my waist. I did cheat a little over the holidays, but I got back on track. Cindy will work you hard and make you enjoy your workout all while working at your own pace. You’ll feel stronger, leaner, and healthier than you did before in just a couple weeks! Her workouts are effective because they are targeted to your problem areas, while incorporating the whole body as well. I’d highly recommend an exercise program with Cindy and a group of friends or maybe just one other friend for motivation. I have hired Cindy and have gone through only 12 training sessions. The first month I started with 4 training sessions, 1 per week.  Month 2 I increased to 2x per week.  I followed the diet she made for me, but unlike other diets and other attempts, this time I followed her diet religiously.  Sometimes I did not use my cheat days and continued to diet even on those days.  I now know that the diet is 89% of the results.  You must follow the diet and you will succeed and in a much shorter time than you think. In 12 sessions, 8 weeks time, I have gone from 203 lbs. to 185 lbs. and lost 5 inches off my waist and at the same time adding 1 3/4" to my shoulders. ( When I started,  I was a 41 3/4" waist. At the end of training I was 37".  After 8 weeks, I went to 35" . )   I then took time off to travel for Christmas.  Cindy's diet had  (8 weeks)  my metabolism burning like a furnace (burning off my own fat).  To my surprise, I have been off over 2 weeks now and expected to gain some weight back over all the holidays like everyone else does.  Well, it didn't happen. I tried to continue to eat good and watch as much as I could and again, to my surprise, continued to burn fat and lost more inches off my waist.  I am now a 32 inch waist, dropped to 179-180 lbs.  I am so pleased, it's been 30 years since I was a 32" waist and cannot be more pleased (pics are at 8 weeks).  Everyone that knows me notices and I get compliments all the time, which is a great boost to my ego.  I am continuing on the diet and hopefully many more training sessions are ahead.

I have to say without any doubt, Cindy is a very amazing trainer as well as being a great friend.  From the first meeting until now, I have listened to everything she has said in guiding me through this transformation.  Being at the weight that I was and feeling unhealthy, I was not sure if I bought into some of her training and diet information.  How wrong I was. If you follow what she says, your results will be amazing.  We have trained for 16 weeks and I have lost 47lbs.  I went from pear shaped to having a v-shape in my body. 
I would say that the most difficult thing for me was the diet.  Changing my eating habits was the struggle.  Cindy told me that once I get to a certain point that the desire for those old fatty, salty, carby foods will leave my life.  Sure enough, she was right.  I have no taste for those foods anymore.  The exercising was something that I'm addicted to now since I'm starting to see amazing results.  My arms and my shoulders have muscle definition and this is due to 2 things regarding Cindy's training.  The first thing is to not over train and the second is to focus on quality over quantity.
I lost who I was as a person but when I used Cindy as a trainer, I found the real me again.  Not only did Cindy help me through the workout process, she was their for me during a certain personal struggle in my life I was going through.  I think that if she ever decides to give up her day job of training, she needs to be a therapist.  So as you can see, she not only helped me physically but mentally as well.  My energy level is over the top not to mention how it feels to go from a 40 inch waist to a 32 inch waist.  Going shopping is now enjoyable.  I feel healthy, self confident and most of all happy again.  Cindy is top notch and I owe her everything in helping me change my life.

I started attending Cindy’s Boot Camp class on January 30. I have lost 31 lbs in the past 4 months and have gone from a size 14 to a size 8. I was very excited about the class but also a little skeptical. I had tried many different diets and exercise plans in the past 6 years with very little results, if any.

Our first day, Cindy explained how the class worked, what kind of training she was going to give us and the results we could expect if we followed her diet and exercise plan. She gave us the option of just attending the class or also including the diet and supplements. She told us we would get the maximum results by doing all three. Since I was finally serious about getting rid of all the extra weight I had put on over the past 18-24 months, I opted for the whole package.

I knew I was going to really enjoy the class after our first one. Cindy is and always has been very supportive and encouraging. Not being very familiar with using free weights, I had to trust that she knew what she was talking about while she was training us. She always tells us what muscles we are working and what each particular movement will do for that muscle. She is constantly telling us that it is the form and quality that matters, not the quantity. Even though, as a class, we are working at our own pace, Cindy is always there to make sure we are doing the movements correctly and showing us how to make minor adjustments to maximize our efforts. Every day is different, so there is no danger of getting bored or in a rut. Cindy is constantly challenging our minds and bodies. I am doing exercises I never thought I could physically do. I have a slight curvature of the spine and was not able to do most of the abdominal exercises that required laying flat on the floor. Cindy worked with me and showed me some modifications that would strengthen my abdominal and back muscles and now I can do all the floor exercises, safely. Now that we are 4 months into this program, Cindy continues to keep it physically challenging as our bodies become stronger and leaner.

The diet was a different matter entirely. Halfway through the first week, I was not sure I could handle the diet. It was so different from how I normally ate. I had 3 small meals a day plus a protein shake (Protein Delite) mid morning and another mid afternoon. I also started taking Reform (aids in fat burning and revs up your metabolism) before breakfast and workouts. I am now taking it 3 times a day as my needs have changed as I’ve gotten fitter. I believe the combination of the diet, Reform, Protein Delite and exercise are the cause for my great results.

Those first few days I felt hungry from the time I woke up until I went to bed, but Cindy said we were shocking our bodies and we would get used to it. In fact, she also said we would lose our cravings for certain foods and that we would not be able to eat certain things later on because they would taste bad to us. I was thinking how can nachos ever taste bad? She was right about that also. By cutting out a lot of processed foods, my taste buds have changed so much in the past months that there are many foods that I simply cannot eat, usually because they are either too salty or sweet. I no longer have to think about what I am eating, it just comes second nature to me. A lot of foods I thought were going to be a problem turned out to not be because I simply no longer have a taste for them. I never feel deprived of anything. I am still eating my favorite foods, such as sausage pizza. However, I now practice portion control and make sure to have a healthy salad with 1 or 2 slices of pizza (depending on size of pizza) instead of pigging out on half the pizza like I did before. I also indulge in desserts now and then when the mood strikes me and have learned not to feel guilty when I give in to those urges.

I no longer consider myself "dieting". I now practice healthy eating habits because this has to be for life and nobody can diet for the rest of their life with positive results.

I am very satisfied with my results and would recommend this class to anyone who is serious about getting fit. I have several people stopping me at work during the day to ask to ask me what "I’m doing" to lose the weight. I just tell them that I am eating and exercising the right way and that I’m attending Cindy’s "Boot Camp" fitness class. I couldn’t have done it without her.

I came to see Cindy because I got fat on medication.  Plus a lot of food, too.  When I first came, my husband had just left me for another woman. I was fat, depressed and almost 50 years old. I decided to stick with the exercise and went faithfully twice a week for about 3 months. I never thought I could do it, but with Cindy's encouragement, I did it.
 
Cindy is a wonderful person and besides coaching me in my exercise, she also listened to all of my sad stories at that time.
 

Needless to say, after only 3 months I went from a size 22 to a size 16.  I lost 34 inches in total.  I feel like a new woman.  Cindy is the absolute best there is.  She knows exactly how to train.  I was a 250 pound woman who couldn't even breathe and was contemplating gastric bypass surgery.  But now I can do all kind of new activities with my new boyfriend.  It's easy for a small person to train, but a bigger girl like me is not so easy.  But Cindy did the exercises with me and forced me to focus. And it works!

I first met Cindy late in the spring of this year. I had just had my second heart catheterization following two heart attacks and a quadruple bypass back in 1993. Now I was faced with multiple artery damage that did not lend itself well to further surgery. I was very much overweight at 290 Ibs and had never been part of any exercise program though I was 54 years old. I was faced with lifestyle changes including diet, exercise, weight loss, and others. My doctors did not think this could be accomplished sufficiently in a short time and felt that my life was at risk. I was impressed with Cindy's credentials and felt she would be far more effective than others. We started out barely able to walk on a treadmill or lift a significant amount of weight. I quickly realized that Cindy had techniques I had never even heard of before and I soon learned just how effective they were. I finally realized that health was more important than my busy and stressful career as a CFO.

We worked together for months and during that time I was hospitalized yet again for the removal of a benign growth in the esophagus. Since gastritis mimics a heart attack I left the hospital quite weak but was soon joined once again by Cindy who started all over with me assuring me that the body had a memory and I would recover quickly. Many times after a workout session Cindy would sit and talk with me offering all the encouragement anyone could expect. This far exceeds the normal call of duty for personal training or even for cardiac rehabilitation. Many times I was working through the pain to achieve gains in endurance and strength. Cindy was always very positive and upbeat providing an atmosphere of encouragement that made you feel so successful.

I started on Cindy's diet and followed her nutritional advice. While in the Hospital the nutritionist asked how I was losing weight and I told her of Cindy's diet. She replied that it was excellent and I should stick with it. To this day I still follow the basic diet Cindy proposed and it is true that you reach a point where that big steak or rack of ribs is no longer appealing. The absence of such things as fat and sodium in a diet will make you feel better. Eventually you reach a point where diet and exercise has become a desired activity.

While working with Cindy I was also completing outpatient heart treatments such as EECP. There were many times when Cindy modified her program to accommodate my schedule. I have now been a client for a little over six months. I no longer weigh 290 Ibs but am now 240 Ibs and still dropping. I am now able to talk without labored breathing. I am now able to walk on a treadmill for as much as 75 minutes. I am now able to use a significant amount of weight during training. Where I used to tire while grocery shopping I now spend hours in a gym on Sunday afternoons. Where I used to have trouble sleeping I now sleep through the night. All of the lifestyle changes, previously mentioned, have been made, and all at once. This would not have happened without Cindy's help. Such activities I am told may have precluded future emergency surgery. The Doctors tell me that exercise reduces the , risk of heart attack and even improves HDL or good cholesterol. I believe that I would not have survived my second heart attack without Cindy. So to Cindy I say "Thank You".
